Many wildlife areas give inspiration for paintings no matter what time of the year. I found this area filled with the end of the “Pearly Everlasting” flower that the birds use for their perches and seeds. This afternoon the clouds overhead seemed to match the foliage that was in the area - becoming a “tonalism” painting. One can stay in this same spot for hours and never tire of the the view and the various birds.
