Water calls to the earth - and to us humans. I was on a vacation when I saw this small waterway leading under the highway - turned around and took the photo. I liked the far blue/violet of the far hill with the morning light striking the trees in the distance and slowly bringing light into the rest of the view. I parked there a long time watching how the light changed as the sun climbed into the sky.
